I do 5 over most of the time. according to my Speedometer, it is 7 over, but my speedo is 2 mph faster.
And if you are driving a truck that says something about going fast on a bumper sticker, do be doing 5mph under the speed limit.

I usually just do the speed limit, b/c if I get pulled over they may find the body in the trunk......sometimes 20 under, but I am driving my $250,000 sports car (combine :farmer: )

It's getting close..The new driveshafts and speedo gear are in.The roll cage is done.Hope to finish installing the on-board air and ARB locker controls tonight.Then,I can get the interior back togother.

I don't think I have ever seen the back seat in use in that thing....other than to throw a bunch of gear on top of it.

I do the speed limit on my speedometer which usually pans out to under 10 over.
knowing a cop reminds you that there actually real people, sometimes people forget about that and get all pissed off when they get a ticket for speeding or rolling a stop or what ever they did wrong. blame the cop for what you did wrong

in town i go exactly what the speed limit is.
on the hwy i dont go over 60. my jeep wont go much faster than that.
the duster is a different story. it doesnt have a speedometer. i know if i hit 120 because the car starts to shake

I'm that guy everyone on the highway hates, the guy that actually does the speed limit. Not 5 over, not 9 over, the actual posted speed limit.
Unless it's a 500 miles trip going 5-9 MPH over the speed limit might save you what, 3 minutes? Factor in the stpo signs and such and your average speed and it's less time saved than that. Simply not worth the risk of a ticket, or the reduced gas mileage.

When I went to New Orleans with my church, the guy driving hte truck I was in got pulled over. It was in a "construction zone". No cones, just a sign. He didn't give the "construction zone" ticket, just a regular one. He then told us there was 2 more cops ahead. I think some cops are just robots, but most are human. I know quite a few myself as friends.

You know what really grinds my gears, when you can get a killer deal on a set of tires with one bad one, only to find out that that tire size is discontinued. Fawkers!!!!
