Came back from river falls this morning, spent the last two days taking care of the fiancée who got a bad case of food poisoning over the weekend. Jeep started find, but was having issues on the highway... I don't think the trans fluid ever got up to temp.. :s

Looking forward to day two in deep -degrees...
 
Had a hell of a time backing out of the driveway this morning. Had to put the stupid duty in 4LO and I was getting all sorts of nasty axle wrap / wheel hop out of the rear axle, but only in reverse. Going forward I could lay into it and it was fine.

I have considered before that one or more of my rear leaves might be cracked, would the wheel hop be an indicator of that or is that just expected when you are going backwards in a leaf sprung vehicle? I'm more of a coil spring guy...

Edit: AHHHHH I'm no longer red!!! I had an extra year of membership and it auto-renewed and then got refunded, let me work on fixing this...
 
Well, tested out my suspension kit last night! Slid her into a ditch. Started sliding and by the time I could do anything i was on a crash course for the ditch. Wasn't sure if it was a drainage pipe and luckily it wasn't. Crawled right out so it was all good. Ice SUCKS!!!!!!! :smsoap:
