got home about an hour ago with the new ride..2002 F250 Lariat w/ the 7.3. one owner and he provided we with practically every service record since new, all oil change dates/milage, all service work dates and what was done. Dude was a fanatic and it was washed weekly and kept in a climate contrilled garage and his office had a parking garage too. He was a cool older guy in early 50's I would guess. mainly all highway miles and has new tires too! will post pics tomorrow possibly.

Dude... awesome! You just got a lot more truck for hopefully not a lot more money. I think you may miss the Chevy's ride quality but that ought to be more than made up for by the diesel. Sounds like it's been well taken care of too.

How about I just have you pick out my next truck for me...

I have to say that the Ford rides like a lumber wagon compared to the Chevy, but the performance is making up for it. It has a 2" lift/leveler kit in the front, so it is a bit stiffer then stock and that adds a little to the steering manners of the Ford (that you all know anout too well!) It has all new ball joints, and has had the Warm Premium hub conversion already done on it. I am looking into a mild tune for it, like 50-75 HP and the economy setting for better milage. It has a full 4" exhaust but stock air intake and never programmed. he had a B&W flip over ball installed and literally used it once to pull a trailer to help a friend move. He flipped the ball over and it is still new and not hardly a scratch or wear point on it. He did pull a 14' trailer with 2 atv's on it yearly out west to go hunting. It also had teh glow plug relay relaced last year. So as long as the tranny holds together I should be good to go.
