Your supposed to use wipes to clean it not your fingers. Once you get that part down it gets easier.:) I change at least 1 a day. 2 year olds make bigger stinkier poo than even I do.

Are you ever going to address Grimm's concerns from the first page of this thread?

Or just ignore them until it turns into a total mess, and then ask the BOD to clean it up for you?

seems odd in light of what this thread is about: "idle chit chat between friends"...... All that is asked is for it to go into one thread so that whole bunch of idle chit chat does not push back meet and greet info, event info, request for help and help offer info off the front pages and so on....

I hate rust..... not jeep rust... but fence rust.... My front yard has this brick mini wall with posts that has steel "fence like" sections in between. Unfortunately those sections are rusted through on the bottom which makes them look kind of crappy as well as kind of flimsy..... like I need another project to work on.....

Speaking of jeep rust.... when my dad got his jeep it looked like it was a CA jeep. It looked good, no visible rust... so... he took it. Fun started when we were taking the suspension off. Usually folks say that they broke one or two bolts and or nuts on the inside of the frame and rest came off easy.... for him it was the reverse. The count was how few went out easy. Oh yeah, and I used a whole can of pb blaster on that damn thing too! I think by the time it was all said and done 2 bolts came out without any problems and the rest of the suspension bolts had to be cut, grinded off or mangled in one way or another to get the lift put on...... rust...... SUCKS!

Oh yeah... and not too long after we got the jeep home it turned out that it was not a CA jeep: it was a UT jeep.... from the snow area of UT which meant..... rust....

Im thinking my jeep was a flood jeep or something. No rust any where except under the carpet in the flor boards. Its not a little surface rust its all the way through.

Is it just floor pans? all of them? Guess someone tried water crossing that was a tad deep or has leaky door seals ;)

You highlight a very important point: it's something that's very hard to define. I can tell you what's not a chapter issue (at least in my opinion):
1. cool video a person finds on youtube (and before someone looks for the thread.. I did post something like that once or twice myself on the chapter forum in the past but I'm trying not to do that anymore) unless it is about some event folks participated in that's jeep/chapter related or about someone's rig or a local place (yup.... the fiber commercial definately was not a chapter vid... sorry Ted for picking on you)
2. showing off something about a vehicle that has nothing to do with jeeps or chapter.... honestly if I put on a set of new rims on my gti, does it really have anything to do with the chapter?
3. tech question that is not locale specific (i.e. "What kind of tires fit best with 3" lift is not a locale specific question")

anyways, that's just kind of a general view I have on things...

Mainly just right under where I rest my left foot when its not on the clutch. And I little in the back( I know that one is there becuase my hatch leaks a little). I guess I got a new summer project to do!

Front left... isn't that a leaky windshield seal that's the most common culprit?
