Another forum I go on has just started a Biggest Loser contest and I decided to join in the other night. While they're working on prizes if we can get enough contestants, and they would be awarded based on greatest percentage of weight lost. Unfortunetly, I'm also the heaviest by far in the contest right now:scared:

Here's my most current picture and it kinda sucks.

Can we do a parallel contest for "biggest gainer"? :D

I'm about 5'8, 165-170 - these weight loss contests are always biased against me...I figure I could probably pack on some weight if I drank more beer and ate a bunch of Tasteycakes...and my g/f's awesome cooking....

Secret to loosing weight, reduce calories you put in your mouth, it'll come off. My daughter lost 80lbs in 9 months, she weighs her food

Planning on doing that even more, reducing the Coca-Cola even more, not lift as heavy as I have been, and forcing myself to do some more cardio.........while taking my rc crawlers out to play too.

Good luck man! As a guy who is always 70 LBs overweight and can't seem to get the right program down to take it off, I'll be rooting for you.

Let us know how it goes.

What the hell man, I thought all you truck drivers were supposed to be on meth?!

Good luck man!

Coastie - I went the opposite of you. I was a XC runner in high school; then an infrequent runner in college.

These have great and varied workout ideas to mix it up.

It's going to be your diet that makes the difference. Eat lean meats, vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. 4-5 small meals a day. It takes a while for your body (and your mind) to change the way it works. Don't get discouraged. Just keep doing the work and it will kick in. Good luck & keep us updated.

I lost over 100lbs so I could join the Coast Guard. Took me two years but it was worth it and the ladies haven't complained one bit :)

Ahh, you used that new "no more pictures with ice cream" diet, didn't you? :gag:

I lost about 60lbs from just cutting soda (still drink some diet sodas) and cut out most my fast food intake. I also notice I don't eat as much candy and other junk.

My mom is on a diet where she cant eat bread and every meal she only eats 4 oz for the main protein.

6'4" 190 :D Trying to put some muscle on before the all-you-can-carry at a local junkyard on halloween, and also before this ski season.

:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

thats so awesome.
yeah what can I say... I'm aiming for an AW4 (I know I can handle that if it's under 200lbs) and hopefully I'll fill a backpack with TCUs, ECUs, and wiring harnesses and throw a driver's seat over one shoulder as well... we'll see.

EDIT: starboard, fully agreed on the metabolism... whatever I'm doing to keep it that way, I like it

I went out for a while today with my crawlers and managed to spend about 3 hours running them around and taking pictures of the area the crawler club I'm a member of is going to try and use for our last comp this saturday. The area is a flood plain and we've had a lot of rain lately and are supposed to get more over the next couple days...............lets just say it aint looking too good:tear: Also discovered that if you've had a good amount of milk and water to drink before getting there, the sound of all that fast moving water sure as hell didn't help much:o Did have a great time with my Mini-Crawler, Wheely King, and E-Revo though:cheers:

I need to do this more before winter:cool:

Here's where I was at, might want to use the bathroom before watchig this;)
