I only blame Obama and the elected clowns in DC for writing laws and making trade agreements that shafted the US in the long term. I blame that peckerhead for not doing any thing about it now other than paying lip service to the problem. These idiots in DC still have not closed the dam barn doors.

Your confusing us with the hope and change crowd that blamed bush for everything.
Of course you know that obama is going to claim he created jobs if any factories in japan that cant be rebuilt in the hot zone come to the US, thats the way it works. Blame others for anything bad, and claim good things you had nothing to do with for yourself.

The field is for ethnicity or race, not nationality. A Jamaican and an Ethiopian are both black/negro. If they wanted nationality (Jamaican or Mexican) then my kids' birth certificates would say mother and father are both American, not caucasian and african or black, whatever they're using for us darkies today.

One huge problem in your logic....you seemed to have confused race with nationality.

Regardless of one's place of origin, race is divided into federal and state brackets. Early 60's the brackets were very broad, i.e., white, black, hispanic, other. It's only been in recent decades that they were broadened to include things like Asian, Native American, Middle Eastern, etc.

And perhaps I should clarify, I'm not siding in on either side of the debate. If you want to be a conspiracy theorist, it's not difficult to postulate that the White House simply pressured the hospital to produce "necessary" documents. However, even fake documents would not have taken this long to produce. My problem with the whole thing is that for a president who campaigned on transparency, he sure seems to hide a lot, i.e., his birth certificate, the health care debates/discussions, and now, Osama bin Laden's body. Even a retarded 3rd grader knew the world, not just American citizens, were going to question the validity of this statement without some kind of evidence.

I'm all for making it a requirement that to be appointed or elected to a national position (senate, house, pres, SC, Sec State, etc) that you have to be able to get and keep a TS clearance. That would eliminate a lot of deadwood. That and actually pay your taxes and if you call for higher taxes that you stop taking itemized deductions. Live what you preach if your going to be a public servant.

It's just annoying that every tiny move the guy makes comes under intense scrutiny and frankly this is clearly a damned-if-you-do ... etc. presidency. Even now with the BC released to shut you all up you're not satisfied because now there's something "wrong" with it. Never before have I seen the vultures swarm over a President like they have been doing with this one. He can do absolutely nothing right. And why is this so? My sense of fair play is acutely offended - and that is why entered this thread. Read what you all want into it. First and foremost, I expect this out of this President and every President.
Second, I've wasted little time worrying about his BC or his citizenship.

Obama, like every other US President, was elected to do a job. He is an employee of We the People. He should focused on doing the Will of the People. I am critical of this policies and actions because they are frequently the polar opposite of my Will.
Unlike many, I saw through the whole Change thing when he was campaigning, so I suppose I could just quietly accept the fact that he is holding true to his Progressive Democratic Socialist agenda that he ran on.......but I can't.

I do commend him for following through with the pursuit of Osama and making the hard decision to have our troops take him out.

You weren't paying attention to politics from 2000 on were you. "selected not elected" ringing a bell? It happens with every election. People who are the most upset that their person lost look for the quickest and easiest way to claim that it was because the other person cheated or that they didn't really deserve the presidency. With Bush it was the supreme court decision and the recount, with Obama it is the BC.

Stop acting so surprised when the 10-20% of people on the extreme sides of an issue act this way. Learn to rise above the tin foil hat wearing, sherry sipping nut's behavior.

So was the last administration, and the one before that, and so will the next administration. It is my opinion that it all began with ditto heads and Rush's tag line of America held hostage BS. The same folks that would speak out against hollywood types spouting political views being only 'entertainers' and "the media" failed to realize Rush is there for entertainment purposes and is <gasp> part of the media!
