Thank you sir. I am planning to pick the replacement motor up this Sat and then get some work done on it. I will replace the timing set and maybe the rod and main bearings if they are not perfect. I plan to have a valve job done on the head and that should ensure it is a reliable engine for the next 100K miles or so. When I put it in I plan to do a bypass oil filter I bought but haven't installed yet. I am debating continuing to use my oil accumulator because it hasn't worked perfectly and it needs a separate air reservoir to work at full capacity. I hope to be putting the newly refreshed motor in in a couple of weeks. I will post up for a work party if folks want to help out. I will need an engine stand and hoist if anyone has one available.
