I'm there with you Glenn. It'll be cowboy boots on the trail and tennis shoes around the campfire at the Crawl for me!

I lead student tours for a living. It amazes me when I tell a group of teenagers "we are going to walk about 6 miles through the streets of Manhattan tomorrow so please wear comfortable and sturdy shoes" how many of them show up the next morning in flip flops and then piss and moan 4 miles later!!

Depends on the flip flops. Spend 100 bucks on flip flopss and id walk 10 miles. Give me 2 dollar old navy flips and I wont walk 10 feet.

This! If its nice enough i'll wheel in sandals($40 timberlands). I don't hop out and jump all over rocks and stuff though. If its not Nice, I'll rock my Keen steel toes!

Justins on the trail, Tevas back at camp. I rode on an impromptu trip in a buddy's TJ with crocs... man did I learn my lesson.

I wear Timberland boots on the trail, Redwing steel toes at work and Rainbow flops any other time. I don't own a pair of Tennis shoes.

Rainbows have come down a lot since I bought mine (8 years ago). They're about $55 now.

i rock my sperry flip flops. they have lasted me 2 years. and my costas that have lasted me 5 years. best 200 bucks i spent.

Yes sir! I have a pair of Sperry flops (I actually don't really care for those flops) and 3 pair of Costa glasses. One pair belong to my wife. She swore up and down that she'd never own a pair of expensive sunglasses. I bought her a pair of Costas and now she swears she'll never own a pair of cheap sunglasses. lol

Wow I don't think I could spend $100 on flip flops, much less $200. The pair I own are Reefs, and I almost never wear them now because I can't compare walking in them compared to my Tevas.

I'm torn between Costas and Oakleys for my next prescription pair. If I did more fishing like I'd want to, Costas would be an easy choice, but Oakley has better frame options for cycling and more activities I do.

the 200 bucks was for the costas..

once you get a pair of costas. you will never own anyother pair of sunglasses ever again. and they have topnotch customer service.
