My wife HATES my Jeep. Rob, your a lucky man!!!!:laugh3:

Thanks man. I admit i got the pick of the litter.:loveu:

She did want a Wrangler for the Longest. But with 3 kids kinda hard to fit the family in one.

Well like she said we picked up this Waggie for 700 bucks. Drove it down from Cinci no real problems. The valve cover had several loose screws and the gasket was coming apart. I know that is where a majority of the leaking oil is coming from. Also had a nasty Belt scream when doint about 20 and under. Found that the pulley is warped so gonna pick up a junk yard power steering pump and new valve cover tomorrow.

Yes IllianaXJ she wants to keep the wood panels on :patriot:

Taking this piece to the solvent take tomorrow. Grab a liter or so to flush the engine with also

Good to hear, glad you were thinking of me :D

3 kids eh? One of them must be old enough to sit shotgun, otherwise you have to tell me how you shoehorn them in. There is no way 3 carseats will fit in the rear of my XJ.

No problems with car seats the boys are 10yr, 8yr, 6yr only one is in a booster.:eeks1:

baby steps are good, but sometimes you just have to dive right in :scottm:

wooohooooooo!!!!! more woody for you. Looks clean glad to see a Jeep family on here. There are 7 in my family. 8 of my friends have them too.:yelclap:

Well yesterday i went to the junk yard and found a power steering pump. A fog light switch and a t-case skid. All for 40 bucks. Not to bad of a deal if you ask me. Put the valve cover back on and torqued all the bolts. You have to watch your self with a cork gasket as it will compress so you have to re torque your valve cover bolts several times. Stopped that leak and cleaned up the area some. So now i found my other leaks... Looks like Rear main but could be the o-rings on the oil filter assy. And the front main seal is leaking. So i got some messy work ahead of me. Drove it to work today and the oil pressure was pretty high on it 55psi where it normally ran 40 but i am thinking that is due to the new oil in the system. That is it for today

My baby ain't she a beauty! Now I am just redoing the headliner cause it was pretty saggy and was only being held up with plastic clips. Any ideas on maroon interior?
