They know damned well that people in this "town" need to cross the border to have a life, but they shut them down. At the same time, we give a wink and a nod to thousands of illegals pouring in across the border from Mexico, and after they're here shrub wants to give 'em immunity.

this is another example of big brother picking on the guy who has more to lose. the mexicans cross in the hundreds daily..to stay and send money back...i see them here in california "landscaping" the neighborhoods...how many canadiens do i see? none. they dont form their own communities (not to mention the gangs) here in my city...i'm disgusted.

Bush's policy on illegals is ill-conceived and wrong-headed. I don't like it one bit.

Your friends in the DNC have better plans. They want more illegals here. They want to sign them up to vote (guess which affiliation?), get them into our social welfare programs, and give them free admission to our universities.

Do you doubt that? It's already happening in my home state.

Undoubtedly, the DNC will say that Bush's plan does not go far enough.
