I simply have too much yet to do; but I'm not quitting! Worst part of it is that a lot of it relies on others (machine shop etc.) In the event I do not make it, can any of the money I sent in for preregistration be refunded?
Now you're beginning to sound like a CO guy. Are the CO guys going to finally get off the hook for not showing up for BOTW because of all the guys who won't show up for the 20th Anniversary Celebration because they tackled projects that were just too ambitious to complete?
I feel some serious ragging coming on here soon.......and you know I can do it.
That's really a good point.....Rich, you'll have a good time at the event even if you don't have your XJ finished so why not come anyway? There are usually plenty of empty pass. seats and you could rent a TJ for a few days (about $80 per day) if you want to get the hands on feel. It will definitely ensure that you will make a trip out here as soon as you do get your rig done.
Come on! I can just see you on the cover of one of those romance novels.....leaning out the doorhole of the TJ checking your line, drivers side tire in the air, your long hair flowing in the breeze.....with an attractive young woman leaning over to grasp your bulging bicep to calm her fears of going rubber side up.................you'll probably find a few guys willing to roleplay this with you ..........BJ, you'll bring your SnowWhite outfit, right?
See you in Moab!
PS: instead of cutting your hippie hair, you should have shaved it off and worked on the jeep instead of sitting in a buety parlor (see, i cant even spell it)
man, not only am i in retard mode today, but as$hole mode too
