Hypothermia Run 2010 (Evans Creek)

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I no it is off topic but anyone no status of reiter trails. is it open again yet:wierd: oh and yes I am going to try and make the hypothermia run as well, but I live so close I may not camp out

its done for, stick a fork in it

that being said, all I heard thats been done has been restoration work on old reiter. seriously doubt anything will be opened till summer. which I still doubt

Rumor has it the deadline for the trails has been pushed back beyond summer... :tears:

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

Any South end guys thinking about making this?

I'm going to put in for the weekend off, and either head up Friday if anyone else is interested, or do an early morning Saturday drive up.
I had been talking about re-gearing the jeep and making this my break in run, but at this moment my wifes trying to work out a vacation to florida. as fun as that sounds.. i've been wanting 4.88s for awhile:tear:

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I'd like to get down with your girlfriend. Just sayin.

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I'm assuming this is still on? Who's all planning on making it?

I'm not holding my breath for an epic snow run, but at the very least I can hang out with my north end constituents. :D

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

Yes it is still on. Yes I am still going.
Yes, I wouldn't hold your breath for the typical amount of snow, but either way it should be some fun and good camaraderie.

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I might make the trip out early Sunday, or late Saturday (7-8pm range) if things are looking good for a chance to wheel in some snow.

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

Whe else is planning making this run?

At the moment the ONLY confirmations I have is Dustin and myself.

IF this is the case, I am likely to bag the overnighter and make it a day run on Sunday (maybe Evan's?).

Are others planning on this event or not?

Thanks,
Michael

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I'm most likely in, unless it's just going to be you and Dustin having a Brokeback trip. lol

I say bag the Hypo run due to lack of interest and snow.

I might be up for some trails instead if anyone else is. I've never been to Evans Creek, and wouldn't mind checking it out this weekend.

i wanna go:rattle:

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I agree Michael. Bag it. I most likely won't be going.

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

I did Evans Saturday. Look for a can of soup laying on the trail. It's good soup so heat and eat. Dustin if things go South for the North I will be heading out somewhere to play.

The thought did cross my mind of heading up to Mt. Hood to find some snow? Not sure where, or what the conditions would be like, but I'd like to get at least one more snow run in this year.

I'll let you know what my plan is, north or south.

Re: Hypothermia Run 2010

If a trip is planned for something local (within 17 tanks of fuel) that is.. if you guys are talking about this weekend?

Then.. im in!
