Hunters/archers

It is deadly to soda cans at 15 yards.

Like I said my buddy does. He wanted. 308 but went. 223 for two reasons, 1 ammo is more expensive, 2 you are gonna shoot it ALOT, .223 will be easier on the shoulder

If ya don't mind me asking what'd ya give for it? I want one to shoot on my buddies course he's building.

The pistol was 275 out the door. Got it, a holster & a case for 303.

So no one?

You guys are missing out

Especially you deer hunters....how do you guys make it through the year without getting after something halfway around till next season?

My 12 year old cousin shot his first tom Sunday at 7am. He was with his dad in my pop up blind. They were seeing a lot of birds and I can't wait for next week when my season starts!

I hope you guys got a sweet pic. That a story to last a lifetime!

Please share if you can!

The first pic is the bird shot Easter Sunday, the birds came down from their roost to some light calling and it was a 35 yard shot

The second pic is his brother last spring, they sat in a lightning storm and within 10 min of the rain stopping they had 5 toms strutting within 40 yards of the back of the blind. he had to lay on the ground and shoot out of the blind door

I don't know how soon some of you guys get into practicing with your bows, or if you ever stop practicing for that matter. But I saw a post in another section that reminded me of a trick someone once taught me.

When you're practicing, pay attention to which arrows are the most accurate/consistent. Usually each one has just a little bit of a difference that is enough to notice when you get down to brass tacks in accuracy/consistency. So when you figure out which ones do what, number them.

I used a sharpie on the fletches. The first deer I took with my bow was shot with my #1 arrow and I watched that thing fly straight as piss and hit exactly where I was aiming.

Just food for thought.

I shoot year round, I was taught perfect practice makes perfect, when I shoot its only about 10 shots, and the first one better be dead on.

We only ever take one deer with an arrow. Especially using carbon. They are cheap enough it shouldn't matter.

I always stick mine in order in my quiver that shoots best.

k "havent shot since season" man
