Bill, I am heading down the same route with the same narrowing. Did you change the knuckle angle at all? If so how much for what Lift? :repair:

Plus what is your answer to Goatman on what axel's?
I set the pinion where I needed it, then put the knuckles on at -5 degrees.
The axles are stock '81 Waggy inners and '76 Chevy outers w/760 joints.

Here's yours Bill. I mean mine. Or is it yours? I don't know. :dunno:

ARB. 4:88s. Warn/Superior shafts. CTM's.
I'm getting close too Bill.

I'm kind of curious......

after looking at these two pictures, who has their upper control arm brackets on backwards? :dunno:
I would venture to guess that mine are correct because you want the movement of the control arm to go with the radius of the backside of the bracket.

Lol, thats exactly what I thought the first time I saw Bill's pic. Thought they looked backwards, but I don't think it matters?
Why would they radius one side then? :dunno:

OK, I'm lost...
Backwards how?
I followed this pic from the writeup...

It was radiused both ways on mine, so I don't think it makes a difference.

I am now guessing that it's mine that are on backwards. If it really doesn't matter, I'll leave it as it is. Other than that, I'll look into changing it to the correct way.

The only thing that matters is if the UCA's clear......if they do it doesn't make any difference. I would think, though, that the radius should face to the rear to give clearance for the arms. If they do face the rear, there are no clearance issues.

Agreed. I wouldn't change it, Dan. if the arms clear, you're all good. I'll find out if MINE clear in a little while! :repair:

I searched around the net and found very little info on the installation of them. But what I did find, both had them the same as yours. :dunno:
