Looks good. Wow, you sure have some snow in Flagstaff!!! I passed through there moving to Cali, back to Il, and back to Cali in the winter when the Rockies and Sierra Nevadas were to unpredictable. Did you custom make those brackets or are they RE stuff?

The brackets are from an RE kit, with some JKS extended swaybar links and a JKS OAB for the trackbar. I also put some gussetts on the passenger-side UCA mount.

What was the donor axle?

'76 F-150. It's been cut down to use late Waggy inners.
So you retubed or is the cast part for the Ford CAs still on there?

I ask because I have a F250 tube that I want to use for a non-XJ project and it looks like the cast in spring pad will interfere with REs brackets. I should fab my own bracket I suppose.

Mine had welded-on radius arm brackets. I cut them off and ground down the weld.

So, what axles are you putting in it?

Table Mesa?

Waggy inners, Ford outers, x760s, Ford rotors/hubs, Chevy brakes.
I'm still a couple of months out probably. I still have to get the rear shafts and redrill the drums in back before I can get it installed.
When's Table Mesa?

I'll buy his gas if he runs Table Mesa with BOTW and I can ride shottie.

There's some motivation for ya :gee:

LOL :laugh3: Not a chance! I don't have enough rig for that stuff, although I may cruise down and watch.

Don't you mean you have too much paint for that stuff?

And where's the shine on that axle, pal?

:laugh3: Goatman PM'd me and said the equipment restrictions were pretty stringent. Too much paint? probably! :laugh3:
Shine on the axle? You think a high gloss finish would set off the neons underneath better than the matte? Hmmm...that's a thought. ;)

Yeah, you'd have to be sick to run an '01 through the Table Mesa trails we'll be running.......something FlexyXJ would do.

Bill,
Can you shoot and post some detailed pics of this stuff? Or email them to me?
I want to see how you integrated the JKS OAB into the RE bracket kit.
Thanks,
Dan.

That part was EASY! You can see where the bottom of the bracket is welded to the axle tube. I sent you a pic of the top via email.

Bill, I am heading down the same route with the same narrowing. Did you change the knuckle angle at all? If so how much for what Lift? :repair:

Plus what is your answer to Goatman on what axel's?
