How to wire 4.0 into FSJ

I'm running a 91 s10 blazer tank with 91 blazer sending unit and 96 lt1 fuel pump. It produces 90 psi and should be more than enough for my stock 4.0.

I was going to run an aftermarket fuel Guage as well. But if I can get my factory fsj guages to work that is the best option. I will give a valiant effort to get my stock guages to work. ... If I'm not successful then it's on to aftermarket. I'm not willing to let guages bog down this project.

I did a little research and it seems the HO era XJ (91-94) uses the same pot values as the factory FSJ sender.

Ohm range: Full 100-115, Empty 0-5

If you can get the XJ tank to work you will solve the pump and sender issue in one shot.

The Blazer tank has a lower profile. Considering that this tank will be mounted in the spare tire area tank depth is crucial to departure angle. The Blazer tank is 10.5" deep and the xj tank is 13" deep. Quite the difference

That's close enough that shortening the arm up a bit on the XJ sender would work.

It would require some tweaking to get it to read just prefect, but should be doable.

You could weld the sending ring unit to your blazer tank if you cut it out of an early metal XJ tank.
