How to unplug TCM? Where is it?

Yeah, I ordered one a couple days ago and it should be here tomorrow, so I will give it a shot and see what happens.

Also, let's say it's not the tCM but low tranny fluid. Can I just add more DexronIII/Mercon and make it over to somewhere to get it flushed and filled?

Also, what if it is a sticky solenoid? How would I know?

Chris

replace the tcm and top off the fluid, (idling in neutral) and see what happens. if there is no improvement then it is time to send it in. if the shop offers a flush ask them if they can guarantee it will fix the problem, or at least will they credit the money spent on the flush toward any internal repair. you shouldnt have to pay for a flush if they are going to have to drain the fluid to fix it internally. there could very well be a solenoid prob .
