I'm not a Wrangler snob. I've got one that mostly sits in the garage lol. I've always been the type that welcomes all makes & models to ride along as long as:
A: the driver isn't constantly bragging about how his/her rig is superior
B: they aren't the type to whine and cry about body damage

I've been stuck on trails with both types.....and it makes for a very long day :laugh:

Agreed! I have even been known to wheel with yota guys and chevy guys and even the occasional sammi!

Andy told me the gold Jeep would be ready for this trip.

Ok now I'm torn. I have not wheeled with Mike in a long time and Andy too. I really want to come to this event but... I have discovered that the trail work weekend for April is on the weekend of the 26th. URE is in a lot of danger. The Daniel trail was ordered by higher ups to be fixed or closed. These new orders are on top of loosing Kodak last year and put that further down the list to get back opened. I have not decided yet if I'm going to bail on you guys or not. I could very easily drive the diesel to URE for that Saturday and help out. However, it's been a long time sense I've been to Gulches and I'd really like to go wheeling again this month! UGH!

I'll be rolling in Friday night and plan on camping at Gulches with Clark, who should be there mid day or a little after. I might have a lady friend meeting me there, but i dont know yet...

I wasn't thinking it would be big enough of a deal to contact Skip. I keep an eye on his Facebook park condition updates. He's usually pretty good about giving a good enough lead time on whether the park will be open or not, usually by Thursday it's set in stone from what I've seen. If it will be closed for our planned ride, we can all get together and agree on an alternate date.
