Housing in Denver

Do anything you can to stay out of the Mid Atlantic. Traffic is he!!, the wheeling su(ks, and the prices for houses (got $750K?) is way to high and the crime level is beyond comprehension. I lived there for 15 yrs, just got back to DC/Baltimoron area from San Diego (awesome dude) and would rather live in western Kansas (wheeling is the same as Md & Va) with the option to drive to Colorado for a weekend of fun.

Denver isn't cheap, it isn't expensive, I consider it to be sort of in the middle, but I do not for the life of me understand how people can afford to live out there and in cali, boggles my mind.
A girl my GF works with is transferring from CO to VA soon, I sure hope she gets a HUGE raise.

Baltimore.
The waterfront is nice.
Two blocks from the waterfront, you better not be on the street at night.

Wife just got back from MD, didnt accept the offer. She grew up there, and doesnt want to go back so soon.

CO is out of the question too as UCLA made her an offer, and they have a better school.

Just need to wait on Berkley and Irvine to see where we'll end up.
