House Federal Budget that is serious about getting America back on track

Not to get too far off topic, but it is the repubs that like deficit spending: until a democrat is president.
Repubs were not worried about the deficit spending under Bush, but all of a sudden, deficits matter when political points are to be scored.
I know, ALL politicians do it.
We are XXXXed.
Gladly, I am near retirement age, it's really gonna suck for you young guys in the future.:flame:

PS. The wealthy built their fortune using the sweat off my balls, and every other laborer in this country. They owe it to us to pay more taxes. They will still be rich.

Liberal forever.

Have you noticed that you're the ONLY one who keeps steering this back to a Replubican vs Democrat discussion? If you're unable to back up you're view point without pointing fingers at just one half of our broken political party system, your argument holds no water.

No, I did not notice that. Because it is not so. I suppose all you guys were lambasting Bush when he was resident. NOT!

Bush turned into a peckerhead his second term, he was only tolerable his first.

I specifically mentioned YOUR unwillingness to hear about the reduction of government, and never mentioned republicans or democrats. I am neither, and no, I did not vote for GW bush, I was opposed to the republican backed Patriot Act and have been opposed to deficit spending as long as I can remember.

and don't think that the rich owe you a damned thing. You didn't have any risk in the business, if it folded up you would have found a new job, you wouldn't have lost your life's savings, home or your personal credit like the owner of the business might have.

Less risk=less reward.

Put your sweaty balls on the line to create your own business and see how easy it is. I dare you.

I also like how you admittedly went off topic with your diatribe about the Republicans, but still didn't give any answers or refute anything that I posted. nice deflection.

Then you should be mad as hell at republicans.
Democrats are no better with their spending, but at least they don't mortgage the future to do it.
Borrow and spend = repubs.
Tax and spend = dems.

I would rather not have my descendents have to pay for our wasteful spending. Lets pay for it ourselves. Or better yet, spend wisely.

The rich could not have gotten that way without my ball sweat and the ball sweat of other laborers in this country. They need us as much or more than we need them.

Dude.......

When are you going to wake up to the fact that the elite rich, the ones who benefit the most from our collective "ball sweat", are actually SOCIALIST?

They don't want you to prosper... they want to take away your wealth/rights/freedom and control nearly every aspect of your life... and you're buying into it!

They're doing it to us through the political theatre of left/right paradigm. They're getting away with it because of the "golden rule" (own the gold, make the rules).

I (for one) would greatly appreciate it if you would knock-off your consistently impolite & unbalanced diatribe.

Do post just to "hear yourself talk".
Try making a little sense next time.

do you read the things you respond to?
did I not say I was opposed to deficit spending?
did I not say I wanted a smaller government, to which you responded by bringing the age old discussion of republicans vs democrats?

Smaller government fixes the issue of tax and spend and borrow and spend, because.... wait for it......

YOU'RE NOT SPENDING!

how hard of a solution is that for you to comprehend?

We do not have the money to spend, we cannot raise taxes to cover the deficit. You could tax everyone in the country at 100% and our GDP is STILL NOT ENOUGH to cover our deficit. Government must reduce it's size or it will drag this country into bankruptcy and introduce Americans into being a third world country.

Think that can't happen?

http://www.survival-spot.com/survival-blog/argentina-collapse/

let's see, things that led to Argentina's Collapse....

Shrinking GDP, yep, we've got that
Assumption of private debts by the public sector, hmmmm, TARP and Bailout monies, yep.
Devaluation of currency to finance more debt, yep, pretty sure we've done that.
Trade Deficit, check that one off the list
Unemployment at historically high levels, yep.

If we are not cautious in the management of our debt we will have inflation, and when inflation happens how will we import things? how will we buy goods from China? How will we buy oil? We will lose the ability to import things that people need/use in their daily life, and at that point the SHTF.

I just wish that I could make you understand that this is not a republican vs democrat conservative vs liberal argument. This is something that MUST be done or we will destroy this country. Unfortunately you're so hung up in your political parties that you can't realize that they are basically one in the same and that they have been working in conjunction to ruin our country for the last 60 years with failed social programs and experiments.

I suppose that you're just going to come back and spout off some more comments about the differences between the democrats and republicans, or something inflammatory . Let me just remind you of your own words:

As long as people like us are arguing repub vs dem, they have us right where they want us. As long as we are fighting, we can't pay attention to what they are doing.

So stop arguing about which party is to blame and start figuring out how to overcome the issues. Better yet, contact your representatives and tell them that.

Well said. There are many examples of failed economies and enslaved people, we will either learn from their examples and avoid their mistakes, or add ourselves to the list.

"If you simplify your English, you are freed from the worst follies of orthodoxy. You cannot speak any of the necessary dialects, and when you make a stupid remark its stupidity will be obvious, even to yourself. Political language — and with variations this is true of all political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists — is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind." - George Orwell

I do read the posts I respond to. You said you were against deficit spending.
That means, logically, you should be mad as hell at REPUBLICANS who are the champions of deficit spending. Comprende?

And my quote that as long as we are fighting right vs left, we all lose is still my philosophy. It is perpetuated by the media. We are XXXXed, as I said before. We are misled to focus on the immediate events, which allows behind closed door deals to go unnoticed. Bush/Cheny were masters of using terror emergencies to keep us all in fear. Distract from reality. Obama has not issued ONE SINGLE terror alert to divert attention.

But we all still believe what we want to.

...Obama has not issued ONE SINGLE terror alert to divert attention.

Really?

What about the late October 2010 UPS bomb incident, coincidently only four days before the mid-term elections?

There'd been plenty of talk about needing a 9/11 or anOklahoma City-like event to instill confidence/save his presidency... about how there was going to be an October "surprise"...

Do you remember any of this, or are you in complete denial?

"Zero" clearly used the incident "to divert attention".

The whole thing could have been "false flag", just like the underwear bomber.

Wake up, remove those blinders, and start facing reality... your republic needs you!

did I ever say that I supported the Republicans? You made that assumption based on my wish for a reduced government. I am not a republican, nor do I support the republican party.

In fact I believe that the two party system in this country needs to go away. Why are representatives from only two parties involved in running our local election boards? Shouldn't those positions be objective? Just another instance of political parties looking after themselves, and doing it cohesively even though they are supposedly different.

Get your facts straight before you go pigeon holing me as "another republican conservative" and instead of attacking me based on what party I might have been affiliated with come back with a logical response to the questions I've posed.

Or do you think that shouting REPUBLICAN REPUBLICAN REPUBLICAN is the answer to every problem?

Again I put it to you, stop deflecting with cries of who to put blame on and start adding to the meaningful discourse that just might actually provide something useful

President Obama on Friday kept up the pressure on Republicans to agree to revenue increases in a deal to raise the debt ceiling, claiming 80 percent of the public supports Democrats' demand for tax increases.

"The American people are sold," Obama said. "The problem is members of Congress are dug in ideologically.

Obama repeated his warning that the country is "running out of time" to avert a financial “Armageddon.”

PRINCETON, NJ -- Despite agreement among leaders of both sides of the political aisle in Washington that raising the U.S. debt ceiling is necessary, more Americans want their member of Congress to vote against such a bill than for it, 42% vs. 22%, while one-third are unsure. This 20-percentage-point edge in opposition to raising the debt ceiling in Gallup's July 7-10 poll is slightly less than the 28-point lead (47% vs. 19%) seen in May.

In any research there you find trends, and the current deficit trend, the trend since a Democrat controller Congress in 2006 has been to the negative. Unfortunately the deficit trend was not great before 2006, but it has seriously degraded since 2008.

Politicians, "they all do it," they all spend like drunken fools (it's just that some seem to blow through the countries assets in more rapidly).

The problem with Socialist spending is that eventually you run out of other people's money. The taxpayers quit making money & spending, and the lenders quit valuing your currency. The USA has been suffering from a lack of earning & spending (and a lack of the resulting tax revenue benefit) and now the country is in danger of losing the faith of lenders (and the lack of the resulting easily borrowed money). The USA is running out of other peoples money.

It took more than two or four years (longer than the current Democrat Party has been in power) to get the USA into a poor fiscal situation that is threatening it's debt rating. Trying to read more into the facts for political gain is a worthless tactic (agree that "both sides did it wrong" but honestly recognize who has caused the worst rise in debt).

The answer to achieve good fiscal health is not in debating who is to blame for the past, it's in who will actually act on a solution in the future?
