Is anyone going up to holycross this or next weekend? I have been reading about it and it seems like fun, but I don't want to go by my self. Also I have a 97 xj with 4" of lift and 32's. Can I make it?
Peace

Where is it?? I might be able to make it... even though you dont know me.

Jeezus Frank...... that wasn't even a hard obstacle..... Sure went kaboom easily. Bummer!

As far as the trail goes, Holy Cross is a moderate trail until you get to the creek. Don't attempt to get above the creek unless you've got lockers, a winch and armor........... and spares like mentioned above.

I know it! I was seriously bummed out about it. I'm just glad the trackbar broke on the trail and not on the highway.

there is talk with some of the people I wheel with in running Holly Cross the weekend of the 26th if weather is still permiting if you would like to join us pm me.

So just stuff the front tire 'till it rubs/binds and turn the steering wheel. I bet I could do that in a parking lot...with Franks Jeep.

That Dakota steering box sure dishes it out!

Well suuuuuuuuuuuuuure!

I think my lil stocker is incapable of exerting that much force against the track bar. The lateral motion would get lost in the worn steering gear, the little tires, the cheesey stock control arms.

Find anything new in the frame popping puzzle?

I run it with you but I don't know the trail. If you want to run somthing closer to denver like spring creek i'd rather but it dosn't matter.
