Hey,

Anybody know what Hollister is like now? Thinking about going down there with some buddies Saturday afternoon into Sunday. Just curious if anybody has a hands on scouting report. Also, if anybody else wants to go, you're more than welcome!

Thanks in advance!

Some friends and I were at Hollister on Saturday afternoon. It was rutty and some areas were still pretty wet. I brought about half of Hollister Hills home on the underside of my Jeep and it is now laying in my driveway.

It is not so wet as to be impassable. The rut mostly add to the challenge. It's definitely worth a go.

Cool thanks,
I hate mud, but I'm dying to get out and run the new rig through some trails. Hopefully it'll dry out this week, at least a little bit. Should still be fun no matter what. I'll try to get some pics.

We are planning on going this weekend 8th and 9th. If nothing else, I can scout it out for ya. What do you need to do to your steering? Need help?

TRE's are shot so i decided to just upgrade. Currie setup is in the mail. As for help, i do appreciate the offer but it should be a fairly painless swap (nock on wood) but i will let you know if something comes up.

Just got home and it was awesome! Beautiful day and the trails were in great shape. VERY minimal moon dust. There were quite a few people out there too! I'll post some pictures as soon as I figure out how to do it. (I'm an idiot with computers)

Rig looks great Hunter! Good job on the swap. I am a couple weeks away from testing my junk out finally.

Thanks Chris. You made it pretty easy for me! :) Hope your swap is going well! My guess it'll be burly. Tank trap was calling your name this weekend, better go answer. :laugh3:

how are those tnt frame stiffiners notice any difference?how hard are they to put in?thanks

I think there is a lot less groaning when flexing out. I did it as a preventative measure, also something good to weld my radius arm mounts to. Very easy to install, just have to weld to the unibody. I added some rosets to get a little more bite to the frame.
