I'll be heading up to HH this upcoming saturday to test out some new stuff and have some fun.

Is anyone else coming up? Anyone wanna join? I'd like a buddy or two while on the jungle trail at least.

I'll plan on getting there at 10 or 10:30, which most likely means I won't be there till 11 at the earliest.
CB channel 4.

Yes I copied this from my other thread.

i am a maybe for this weekend. about 75% a go. i need to fix a few things from last weekend at hollister.

Awesome. It will be nice to finally meet you, Chris.

Same to you, I cant promise you anything as my budget is extremly tight, but id love to get some kind of good hollister wheeling in. You down to run jungle trail?

No worries if you can't. I understand.

Yep, the main reason I want to go is to run all of the jungle. I won't leave without completing it haha. I've only completed the first section (1/3?) to date.

Jungle trail eh? Hope you have better luck then me. Not trying to talk you out of it, but you may want to walk it before you get to deep into it. I would love to come out with you guys, but I'm busy and I dont have a running rig (see below) ha ha ha

Isn't there a way around that? To the left?

Any other trails out there that are similar to the jungle? I'm surprised I don't know, I haven't bothered with the tougher trails till recently.

i am 50/50.
i need to work on the red heep tonight if i want to take it, or i can beat on the green heep, it is ready to go...but i don't want to follow 94xjstud's path of destruction down the jungle trail!:eek::eek:

Once you see the tree of doom you have 4 options:

1. Take the path to the left (usually not bad, but I have seen some bad ruts in it)
2. Take the path to the left and up the steep hill, pretty scary when slippery as you have a sweet cliff on one side and nothing behind you
3. Back down about 100 feet to a side trail opening
4. Take the super manly awesome path of destruction and legendaryness

Awesome. I can't wait.

Jeeps all ready to go, just lettin stuff dry. I'll be at HH by around 10:30-11:00ish. Cb ch 4.

if it is 10:30 to 11:00 ish then that will give me a bit more time to work on the red p.o.s., then hitch & load the trailer.

This weekend was a good trip, first time ive got some good holister wheeling in since oct 2008. I found a few things broken. My driver side upper control arm bushing is completly missing. Dont know when that happened or how long it has been that way. Also, my driver side suspension is tweaked about a 1/2 inch. That is from this weekend at HH. Im pretty sure its fom when I almost flopped end over end. All in all it was a good trip, it was nice to meet knucklehead 61 and jeep450r. I didnt take any pictures or Id post them up, Hopefully jeep450r will post some of his up. Thx for posting yours knucklehead 61. Hope to get out there soon.

It was definitely a solid day of wheeling. It was great meeting both of you, Chris and Tim. I hope to get get there again in the near future.

I have a few pics and videos, but I need to wait for my buddy to email me the pics from his memory card. I'll post up eventually... I swear.
