Hollister Hills January 11th/12th/13th

My dad and I will be heading down to Hollister Hills this weekend to play in the dirt. We will be camping Friday night and then plan on wheeling all day Saturday. On Sunday we will be switching over to the dirt bike/quad area and will be riding our quads to finish off the weekend.

I'd love to meet some people out there (for either 4x4 or for riding) if anyone wants to join. The weather looks like it should hold up too.

Anyone want to join?

If I can get my oil pan gasket issue fixed I'll be there, and was planning on riding my dirtbike Sunday as well

I'd love to come out and wheel with you, but we will be at hollister the 19th. Still have to swap in my new Yukon shafts and button up a few things this weekend.
 
Jake you should come down. As long as the weather holds up, it should stay dry. Lots to do out there and they also have a bunch of new obstacles I haven't seen.

And Zach that's a bummer that were a week off. It'd be good to finally wheel with you.

I've been interested in going every time naxja went out there but never had the chance. hollister looks sick. it's just very important that it's dry. my tires will literally grip nothing even when slightly muddy. that's a long way with no doors (even worse if it's raining) for a bad day of wheeling. I'll watch the weather
 
So no dunes this weekend?
 
Pismo is next weekend. Is anybody down for this weekend at HH?

Side question (not really worthy of a new thread), has anybody been to the other side of the paved road and what is there? According to the map there is a whole other side across the paved road from the white school house. It's marked on the map as "Hunder Property, four wheeled vehicles only". I only see green and black trails which seems interesting.

I'm definitely out. I gotta put new floors in the condo thanks to a busted water heater.
 
Happy, the hunder property is nothing special. You need to have a group and you basically get group access to the area. It consist mainly of fire road type trails. Would be good for a side by side but there's not much there for good wheeling.

Anderson, ill be coming down to pismo next weekend to ride the quads in the dunes. You're welcome to come out and tag along if you'd like!

Josh, thanks for changing the title for me. I'm bummed you can't make it, but hopefully we will have a chance to wheel together before you leave.
