I am going to go either thurs night and stay thru sat afternoon.

I am going to do a little work to get it capable again before the trip so if anyone wants to do a meet and wrench let me know.

You in?

I would love to run hollister, I have not run it in so long. Good luck with the police academy, Are you going into the San Jose academy?

Id like to run hollister too. I just got my new tires mounted up too, so I might be in for that. Gotta run it by the g/f, but shouldn't be a prob

Looks like we could camp it. You're goin Thursday night?

Ummm, so it doesn't look like I will be able to make it on those dates. I attempted to put on some new steering, but I am having clearance issues with it. I now need ot relocate the trackbar over the axle tube to make more room and I don't think that I will be able to get it done next weekend (the jeep is about an hour from where I live and I still have to figure out which bracket I need to get). Hopefully I will be able to make it out there on the 6th or 7th.

lame, well keep me posted, i'm gonna try to get a group together to go on those original dates anyways. hopefully you get things situated.

I am ordering a OTA bracket from rustys, and I am going to put a rush on it so I might be able to make it. I am going to take the trac bar off, cut off some of the bracket so the tie rod will clear, and weld up the steering this weekend so that I only need to weld in the bracket and rebolt up the trac bar. I am going to use the same one I have now, I am just going to adjust it all the way in, and if it is still to long I am going to cut off some from the end where the treads are as there be plenty if it is adjust all the way in.

Cross them fingers

fingers, toes, eyes all crossed, anything else?

Im planning on going on either sunday or monday.

I'll be up there tomorrow and staying atleast most of sunday, maybe monday.

Photos tomorrow. The GF decided that she was going to take my camera today, so I'll get pics tomorrow before I leave.

Over all a very cool trip. Everything did great, ran the gulch multiple times, all of the rock courses, truck hill, random trails and ravines, until my welds broke on my steering and track bar mount. I was told by a professional welder that the only thing wrongs with my welds were that the welder was not hot enough, not too bad for a 2nd time welding and it last quite a while. Everything broke on the way out.
