Hey guys! New jeeper

Ya I did that recently also, the dent was bad enough to actually bend the oil pick up tube inside lol if you're crafty enough you could weld a plate on the bottom of the oil pan to give it a bit more protection.

Well it was where the bolt is on the lip... Really bizarre.. I'll have to take a picture when I get it off again.

Update: waiting on an oil pan

But with Sunday being my birthday, got a little surprise in the mail. The last piece to my AR ;)

After looking at it... It looks like it came with 3 rear shocks and 1 front... So I'll either have to find a way to make one of the rears a front or all new front shocks...

Contacted trail master and they said that they would send me the right shock! Awesome! Love great customer service!

So once that gets here, should have the oil pan and should be getting everything put on! Really miss driving it haha

Decided to start a sub and speaker box out of scraps from work because I plan to take the doors off eventually, and I want to get rid of the speakers in the doors and diamond plate them, then move the sound bar up to behind the front seats. Still have to carpet it and get speakers for it, but it turned out nicely I think. I plan for it to go right behind the back seat

If you can get a second speaker bar and use it up front. So that you have 4 speakers and a sub. That's what I did on my 97' works really nice when the doors would come off.

I cut holes in the top of the box for some 6 1/2s and the hole in the bottom for a 10" sub and then the sound bar from the back will go forward

Thinking about it... This is a bad idea. I need to either add chambers under the 6 1/2 holes or get rid of the holes... The force from the sub will just blow out the speakers...

Welcome to the group Egg. Probably see ya around. Don't drive my Jeep much anymore, but I get to Tacoma 5 days per week....

6.5's don't need a lot of space, just box out under each of them and that shouldn't take up to much space from your sub and still keep the speakers safe. basically measure the depth of your 6.5's add a half inch and make that the depth of your interior boxes.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Some 2x4s with a backer under each hole

Finally got my new oil pan. Hopefully get some time to put it on and get to driving the jeep. It's been super busy with work and this next week is going to be crazy as well. But at least I have the parts haha

Installed the oil pan and i still have an oil leak, pretty sure it's the oil filter adapter, so I got the torx bit today and gonna get the o rings when I can get to a parts store

On a side note, picked these up for $20!

Nice. What size?

235s but I'm going to go to 31s one day, I want the general grabber red letters but can't swing it right now haha =P

So one of the tires was worn on the edge and the place wouldn't mount it, so we ended up just getting a set of 31s..

So here is stock suspension with 2" lift in front on 31s

And also fixed that pesky oil filter adapter leak...

This is the kit I got, just under 6 bucks off the shelf at a local Baxter auto parts. Had all the o rings you need plus some for whatever

Now down to
- 3 inch lift (needs a shock then can be installed)
- axle U-joint
- paiting bottom "trim" and wheels
- mounting cb
- front drive shaft U-joint
- custom bumpers
- headliner
- diamond plate door panels

Nice to finally be able to drive it. Even though I really need to fix that axle shaft U-joint

Haven't done much to it but have been daily driving it and it's been doing great, did a lot of work on my father-in-laws jeep and thought I would take a picture of both of them
