Finally bought an xj. Like most people. I have wanted one for a long long time..

So after awhile of searching on Craigslist. I found a 95 xj sport for $500 needing a clutch replacement. Towed it home and replaced the clutch. Now currently working out the kinks and minor problems. Have some huge plans!

I say atlas before anything else, but to each their own

Thinking more like 4speed but cals is a good start too!

So actually I got a 2 inch budget lift that arrived today. So this weekend will probably be full of fun

Painting trim and wheels
Rear main seal
2 inch lift

And thanks for the welcome!!

Still not used to all the rattling and clicking and squeeks haha. But apparently it's just a jeep thing...

And have received 1 jeep wave from a wrangler already!! Woop!! Haha

Lift shackles, and then later when I can afford it wanna add another 3 inches

Thinking a bastard pack or Procomp lift leaf pack and then 3 inch coils added to the spacers or just new 5-5.5 coils with all new shocks and brake lines and the good stuff. Just needed to get out of the stock height haha

Looks good, my word of advice, uniframe stiffeners before anything else.
Any good recommendations? Not going to be doing any extreme rock crawling. Mainly getting it covered in mud and other mild Pacific Northwest trails and stuff. Still need to daily it haha

super easy trails and a good place to benchmark your jeep build progress is to go to Tahuya out by belfair. about an hour from tacoma, everything from 2wd trails to decent hill climbs and new rock gardens. every mod i do to the jeep i take it out there and see what else it can do.

Nice. I'll have to check it out sometime. My buddy has a pretty built JK that he will have to take me haha

So after a good inspection found the oil leak was from the oil pan and the oil filter adapter, didn't have the o rings or the right torx bit, so I pulled the pan and found a pretty good gash on the pan. (didn't wanna touch my phone to take pictures because there was SO MUCH oil haha) but we tried to hammer it and bend it back. Thought it got straightened out enough, but we didn't. Got it all back together and leaks pretty good. So the jeep is sitting till I can order a new pan and get that taken care of. Should be next week or so.

If it's not one thing it's another haha
