i'm in ann arbor and heard about a place called the mounds ever heard of it? guy i work with said there are some trails there. i think he said about 2 hours north of ann arbor?

the mounds are like straight up I-75 a lil ways from me....we should get together and plan a trip up there..remember you need to by an orv sticker here in mich to go froading....as i recall there is a gas station outside of flushing up by the mounds that sells em for like 16 bucks or so....anyway have a holla and we'll plan it....

the mounds sucks.

that is unless you have a full size chevy with 44 boggers. It's all mud, well cept for the mud mixed with water, and of course mud, theres plenty of that.

It's north of flint, thinking it's on Mt Morris rd, it's the first exit south of M57 on 75, go east for 5 or so miles and it's on your left, 1/2 mile past gennisee (sp) rd.

Ann Arbor? you a blue and corn student???

Fore wheeler.. my gf is getting her MBA at UM which happens to be a top 5 buisness school. I'm not a Wolverine fan but I guess I will cheer for them at The Big House. I would also be willing to put money on them against State. (football only) The SEC rules!!



Grifter... Have you been to the mounds? is it as bad as fore wheeler says? i really don't want to go muddin. would like to hit some trails sometime though. pm me if you have a date in mind but only if.... i won't have to drink by my self at the campsite. because i will and that's only fun if i'm actually by myself.

Welcome back. A long, long time ago I did a little 'wheeling in the U.P. near I-75 on the way to Canada. Pretty mild stuff, but we didn't have much time to explore. Do you know if there are any trails in that area? It's hard for me to believe it's been twenty plus years since I've been that way, time flies....
Chris, whats the details on the Lakester? Sounds interesting. TC
