Just remember to put the vehicle's axles on the jack stand so they won't hit the ground......got that? .........and frank gets your parts if something happens.

Personal experience use your lower gears, 1st or 2nd, if you go to 3rd, 4th or put it straight into drive they will spin very fast, all that weight of the tires spinning and might wobble the Jeep around and risk falling off stands.

Second and this is for AUTOMATICS, DO NOT PUT IT STRAIGHT INTO PARK..............put it in neutral and stop the wheels first, then put it in PARK...........I made the mistake of doing this and about destroyed my tranny...........:doh:

Jsut take it to a shop that has a lift and PAY someone to put it on the lift and inspect the drive train while running.

Reputable shops have insurance. Pick a reputable shop that has a big window that lets you see your vehicle being worked on. Make videos, post them here, unless your attorney says otherwise.
