Help with hidden wire harness

Aloha everyone, just looking for some help with a wire harness i found under the carpet while tearing out the interior. It was found on the driver side kick panel area.

Its in a 88 XJ Laredo 4dr. auto, 242, I6... no pwr locks or windows but all other options are there.

I can only assume its been there from day one due to corrosion and the permanent mark in the rubber matting under the carpet.

I would go through the whole process of tracing wires and what not but due to an injury i cant get up under the dash or stay hunched over very long.

If it helps, there are 6 wires. 2 tan, red, orange, green and purple.

Probably the harness for the power windows and locks that you don't have.

I was thinking along those lines too but figured it was just too easy of an answer.

confirmed-- it's the same door harness that I unplug each time I pull the doors.
