Okay, I ordered a HD SYE for my 231 from a vendor who shall be nameless (for now).
When I received it, the small parts bag was ripped open and the parts were strewn about. I found a couple of the lockrings under the bottom flaps, where they could have easily fallen out of the box.
Discovered that I am missing one of the "star" rubber washers that go on both ends of the main shaft. Contacted the vendor and they said a new parts kit would be shipped out immediately. That was three weeks ago! Whenever I call them, they say it was shipped out...three weeks ago. So they're being of no help at all.
So...where can I find this splined rubber washer? Been searching the 'Net, but can't find what I need.
Or where can I find an exploded view of the 231? I'm assuming these washers were also used on the factory mainshaft.
