The thing to watch out for on the factory hooks is side pulls. The brackets will twist. But for conscientious recovery they are suitable.

Does anyone have (used) OEM Tow Hook brackets (w/ or w/o hooks) still laying around, possibly for sale?

Also, 31" tire on 15x8 for spare use.
