Short story: Due to a court ruling, the Forest Service must make a new Land and Resource Management Plan for each national forest. YOU can have a say in how this plan is made! But you have to do it BEFORE May 8th, 2010. ONLY if our voice is heard can we expect Uwharrie to be there for our future use.

Include "Uwharrie Plan" in the subject line.

If you don't have time to read the plan and formulate a comment, at least take the time to copy, paste and send the following.

"Thank you for the opportunity to participate in the planning process for Uwharrie National Forest.

As a user of the forest I ask that you continue to provide FULL SIZE OHV, "Jeep", trails as part of the new plan."

Fixxed, not sure what caused it, link is the same, but when I re entered it it started working again.

Just curious where you see anyting about a court ruling? URE is looking to get input on its FS use plan. URE atm is not in an danger. So why the "Help Save" title. URE is run by Rangers that actually care about the trails and want to keep their forest open and usable by many different groups.

To grab attention, while URE isn't in danger currently, it doesn't hurt to help prevent an issue.

I just borrowed the title and such from JC on NC4x4, it seems to be doing alot of good, so why not.

I don't know anything about "a court ruling" btw, just taking it from JC, he keeps up with these issues.
