help. can't see pirate4x4.com

at home both of my computers work fine when viewing/posting to pirate4x4.com. but at work it absolutely won't load. it won't even bring up part of it.

this is my own computer that i put in the shop, and everything works flawless except for pirate4x4.com. i've checked all the settings that i could think of (doesn't mean i didn't overlook something), and also tried resetting the internet explorer defaults. but i just can't get to their site for some reason.

any ideas.

This smells more like a network issue than a server issue. Network traces are failing only a couple of hops away from a couple of tame servers I have.

yep...definately.....i just remoted into my home computer from work and can get on no problem.....but still can't get on from work

pirate has alot of very good tech and has just as much good info as any other site.

Things like logmein.com, gotomypc.com, etc. make me nervous as hell. Unless I'm misunderstanding it, you install a client program on your home machine that connects to the external service (logmein, etc.) From work, you start a client program that connects to the external service. The external service now transfers stuff back and forth over the established connections.

I'd have to trust the service a whole bunch more than I do now to even consider such a thing.

I'll have to ask the network weenies here if remote access sites like that are blocked.
