I will be moving to the Irvine area April next year, I have been to KOH a few times and am excited to take my jeep out to Johnson Valley. What are other great wheeling spots within a few hours? Also, any more active Facebook groups to join?

Yep, used a 15 year old thread a few weeks back to add back headrest...

Death Valley is more than a few hours away (5 or so), but lots of interesting, mostly mild-ish wheeling to do, with some very interesting mining history at the end of many of the roads.


I might know a bit about the area.
