What's up guys? Figured i'd take a minute and stop by and say hi. I miss this group for sure, always had a great time. It seems there are a lot of new names here, so sounds like everything's moving along nicely with new recruits and all.
I left NJ after working on my jeep for months...never finished it in time, and haven't had a chance to come back and work on it. I will be planning a trip back this summer sometime and try to get the thing moving again, and eventually bring it down here (houston) with me. (The parents are godsends for keeping my rotting jeep in their yard while my life gets started, but i can't expect them to do it any longer). Anyway...I will definitely be asking for some help when that time comes!
As far as wheeling down here goes....gotta drive at least 3-4 hours past Austin, TX then stuff starts to get good. Houston basically has nothing except for mud.
As far as personal life...Houston is actually a great place to live after taking a few months to get used to it. So laid back, yet so much stuff to do. People are so freaking nice here! It was almost shocking how nice they were. The summers are hell, but the fall, winter, and spring are pretty hard to not enjoy. Looking into buying my first home down here too! Kinda exciting, kinda scary.
Anyway....thought I'd give an update after being MIA for quite a long time. Hope all is well with everyone.
