Hey, just a quick question about hell whole. I want to run it when the snow is gone with some buddies. But i never have, so i was wondering on the dificulty and type of vehicle recommended. my buddies bronco and my jeep are both locked on 33's, so thats not an issue, but the other 2 have stock IFS toys. Ones gonna be on 32's, but no lockers, the other, im not sure of yet. is it do-able in a stock IFS toy with 31's-32's??

yes, it's doable with 31's and open diffs. A couple of tricky spots for open diffs, but it should be OK.

Snows melting fast up there. I'm going to try and get in next Tuesday.

I ran Hell Hole open/open with 30" tires so it is doable. I had a hard time at a couple spots on the way out though.

Not to high jack but where is hell hole.

32 miles from my house!

Go to Foresthill and make a left on Mosquito Ridge road. Follow the signs.

Don't die on the road there. It's treacherous.

Ok, thanks for the replys. one more...is it best to take 2 days to run it, or one?

It's good to camp near the trailhead since it's such a long drive but the trail is an easy day trip.

well, its about 60 miles to the trail for me, so not that long. Just was wondering about the trail itself. Thanks.
