I'm not sure if anyone else here is as big a fan of the Dark Knight as I am, or the Joker character in general, but for those that are I thought I would share some info. The scene where Commissioner Gordon gets shot at you can see Heath Ledger's face briefly for 2 seconds from 1:02 08-10secs. I'm sure plenty of you know this, but coming nearly a year after his death it is a very creepy and disturbing image to look at. It really gives you the feeling that he was completely taken over by this role. I believe along with a lot of others that this was the major contributing factor to his death.

I snapped the pic below with my camera since I couldn't figure out how to copy the image from my movie player. Sorry its a little blurry.

Btw, the only reason I'm posting this at 10 in the morning is I'm in one of my b.s. classes at school and extremely bored lol.

I don't know, I see these peckerheads offing themselves for no good reason, like that german billionaire yesterday that decided to become a smudge on a train, boo hoo, he went from a value of 60 billion to 24 billion. Then there is that looser Hunter Thompson, could go on and on.

He is an actor, he wouldn't be a very good actor if he wasn't able to convince the viewers that he is who he is playing.

The major cause of his death is that he was a junkie and took to much. Like RichP said, just another rich guy who thought his posh life was to hard for him to go on living.

I thought his Joker was the best character in cinematic history.

I actually thought that Two Face was a much more interesting character.

i don`t condone suicide mostly because of the people that are left to deal with the pain. but being a big scooter head all my life,i`ve been familiar with hunter thompson for years.
he was actually in very declining health, hurt horribly, and just got tired of fighting it i guess.
if i remember right,it was a .45 cal in his kitchen.

He accidentally OD'd on meds, he didn't kill himself.

Sure thats what the MEs report said but no one really knows. How does someone confuse take 2 daily with taking 8 at once?

Does life insurance payout if its a suicide?

Two Face was a great character, but the hole time I was looking at him I was just thinking holy crap those special effects on his face are crazy. I thought Joker was a better character overall.

So Jester...you are saying he killed himself because he was too caught up in his role as the Joker? That doesn't make any sense. The Joker liked himself...he thought he was the best criminal.

This was one of my favorite movies, and I agree, I think the Joker was one of the best roles I've seen in a movie. Too bad Heath isn't around to do the 3rd which was supposed to be the trial of the Joker.

I think it inadvertently led to his death . The people that were close to him have stated that he was having a very hard time breaking out of the character after the movie. From what I know, he prepared for the role by locking himself in a hotel room for a month without seeing anybody. Reading old comic books...speaking like him, acting like him, eating like him etc. He was staying up late to the point of exhaustion perfecting the character. Also, running on little sleep to get into the crazy, psychotic mind frame of the Joker. This is how he got hooked on sleep meds and painkillers. The guy was not a junkie or drug addict. I could go on and on, but there are plenty of interviews and news articles out their about this if anyone wants to know more.

Here's a good one to start with...

Dang...you leave out one little word like before and everything totally gets misunderstood.

On a side note though, I just found this. This is very cold, yet I can't help but laugh.
