Heading to Moonrocks this weekend

So a buddy and I are looking to get out and do some wheeling before the year is over. Looks like we're going over the hill and checking out Moonrocks. Just wondering if anybody has been out there and if so, any suggestions. Looking at camping out there, but the lights of the city may call us in for a hot meal and a warm bed. Leaving the Bay area on Saturday and probably heading home on Monday. Anybody is welcome to join.

Moon rocks is fun, Pack some warm stuff it gets cold out there. How may rigs are coming out? I will try to may be come out on sunday with the XJ.

So far, just my rig. My buddy's has been on the chopping block for a while and is just about done. These trips are a little kick to get him motivated to finish. :spin1:
Also, I can run a parts train from the East Bay to Reno and back if anybody needs it!

Leaning toward staying on this side of the pass. Definatly going somewhere, really don't want to go to Hollister. May go north to Paradise or just tough it out and camp at Wentworth and do day trips into the Rubicon. We'll see...
