Harold of the Rocks

I made a bracket so I can bolt my orbital in

I know it needs more paint, but its kinda hard painting something black in the dark.

I also built my mini tierods.

Im kind pissed I knew my ram was off center but I didnt realize quite how much it was till I built the tie rods.

one is around 14" the other is about 3.5"

I used bondo to form my top edge of my rocker back into the sill, looks like it came out of factory and only took about 30 mins.

Most of my hydro plumbing is done. Just waiting on some 90deg fittings where the straight ones wouldn't fit.

also just finished shorting my drive shaft. Idk why but It didnt come out as nice as the first one I did. I used the same jig and everything, but this one has a slight bend in it. I dont think its enough to matter for the speeds It will see. Ill get pics later.

ugh Im finding full bump so I can figure out how long to cut my stops and I see that my hydro lines from the cylinder will contact my crank pully about 1-1.5" before full bump.

Im going to rotate the cylinder some and see if it will fix the issue. because I cant afford to lose any more up travel.

oh and they sent me the wrong order so Im still waiting on my 90s

so Iv run into an issue with the exhaust. I dont have room to get past my X member. the only spot I can sneak through leaves it pretty much touching my rubber trans mount and I dont want that burning.

from the back

from the front

the second pic makes it look like there is alot of room on the other side of the UCA tower but there is actually alot less.

Hood stack. Do it you won't.

(I would actually take a piece of pipe the next size up or so, then stick it in a vise and squash it flat till it fit nicely between there. Should have enough cross sectional area to still flow, then you just need a couple adapters. Or just squash the piece you have there, a little restriction won't hurt too much, the stock downpipe has a large crimp in it anyhow.)

the piece I have in there is squashed quite a bit. I was going to try a hood stack but I dont want the exhaust blowing in my face and dont want to make it tall enough to clear the roof.

im going to try to squash it some more.

ok I squashed it quite a bit more.

I still think its kinda close to the trans mount.

and I dont think I want to do exhaust wrap because Im afraid of leaking oil getting soaked up and catching fire.

and im sure Im not a good enough welder/builder to get it to end up in that spot when I build the exhaust.

dam I wish I had thought of this ahead of time.

Just notch some shit out and plate over it until fits. Or use the smashed pipe and you'll find out later if it'll melt that bushing. Remember not to smash the whole pipe you dingus and have both sides pop out somewhere easier to weld.

wow I wasent expecting actual solution when I saw you commented. I thought you were going to ask how many amps my Alternator put out. or ask me how many dicks would fit in there.

that piece in there is just a test piece. Ill only squash just enough when The time comes.

Dual exhaust!!!

Or just squashing it should work. Maybe there's something you can put between the bushing and the exhaust?

No but seriously, how many amps does your alternator have?
