Harold of the Rocks

Is that a rustys grill? Cause proto-fab ones have stinger mounts, quadratec told me so
the proto-fab grills fit 93-05 XJs according to quadratec

Got my lower links figured out i think. I only have to move them in about an inch.

Idk why i didnt realize that right away. I think i was just being a pat (winey bitch) and got frustrated.

so stuff happened today.

have one LCA cut. everything looks pretty good so far. I should end up with 4" of up travel and enough droop lose a coil. I have to measure my shocks and maybe get limit straps.

then FML it fell off the jackstands..

:roflmao:

Been there, done that. I think I dropped my 60 of the stands like 3 times, dropped it off the workbench once too when I first got it and was stripping it.

Get limit straps, trust me get them!!! That, or trash shocks

They're spacing them out.

I have mine spaced out 1" I think.

You probably hit the multi quote button on that post in the past and never actually hit post after that. So it included it the next time you posted from that computer in this thread.

I found it. I must have put it down on the silver muffler on my snow blower and put the snow blower back under the deck. I was just about to give up and buy a new one.

I cycled everything and it all works well. I had to move the UCA tower about an inch.5 more towards the diff cause it was limiting up travel by hitting the frame rail.

Im going to have to build a new drive shaft because all the ones I have are ~4" too short. Im going to canibalize the blown up tom woods shaft I have and put the dual cardion thingy on it since the slip yoke is alot beefier then the others.

every thing got 3-4 passes

I was thinking of leaving this part open to let water and junk out

100_0993_zps829cc8bc.jpg

bad idea? its welded 3-4 passes on the outside and 3 inside.

weld it, also that back plate slould of been touching the tube and welded to the tube, alot of force on the one mount with a heavy 60

I'd weld a gusset on the side as well.
If you are worried about water, just leave 1/2" of that area unwelded, or drill a small hole.

got my X-member 99.999999% done.

did 6 passes where I could and 3 everywhere else on my LCA mounts. then ramped and boxed them in. I think they came out pretty good.
