Hale Mtn - May 26th

So will there be 2 open seats this weekend? It's been a crazy week and she still doesn't have a tire and my trailer is out, wed love to come down and ride if there's room

give dan a call... ive got my sister and brother in law riding with me.

I'll have one seat empty, but I'm not going too hard core. I'll have the girls with me, but they'll be in the back.

well if theres no room were out..... oh well.... guess i'll put the buggy motor together

Mark and I are riding down and will have a free backseat? Not the greatest but hey Doug, I wanna see you guys!

well, it started out a great morning and we made record time getting to hale mtn. Turns out i'm only 60 miles from the park. High2by was riding shotgun. We get there by 7:30am so we head to the top to meet up with rredalty, tiff, byron, mike. We ride the waterfall trail.....awesome since it is so dry. Great traction.

We get to the top to find cottontail so we head to the lower creekbed. Almost ready to start and my brake pedal goes to the floor. No brakes. Broke the hard line to the drivers front. Game over for me. Went back to the top and crimped the line and drove home. We did eat lunch but waited till 12:45pm before leaving, hoping to see others before we left.

Jeep is fixed and ready to go now.

Had fun guys!
Ed, Mark, Dirk... Wish we coulda done some riding together, we will in a month or so :)
...fun is done for me, time to get the 3B prepped for the crawl!

I didn't ride much at all, maybe only an hour all told, but it was enough to shake out my steering issues. I was pretty pleased running the riverbed. Being at 5 inches with the drop brackets, the locker, and the SYE made a huge difference. I crawled it like nothing. So nice!

After lunch we decided to head to Ed's to work on his brakes and my steering. I didn't mind not spending a full day on the trail. Hanging out riding and working on Jeeps is a great way to spend a Saturday. And thanks to "Ed and Mark's Auto Part Emporium" I was able to source a couple pieces that I needed before the crawl...so my "to do" list will shorten soon.

had a great time the new jeep did awesome minus overheating and powersteering line. LOTSA TRACTION!

Broke a tail light. I have no idea what I hit to do that.
