H&t ?

I got mine for free. My brother used to work for a chrysler yard and got a np231 tc that was trashed with a h&t on it and gave it to me.

I installed it and drove it for a while and it leaks. It is leaking from between the nose cone and the h&t. All I have the is atv between the two. Should there be a gasket there? If so that would be my prob.

BTW I searched but could not find any info on this particular gasket in ?.
I know I am hasta

all i ahve is RTV there, pull off the tailcone, use a sharp GASKET SCRAPER to remove all old RTV, reapply, wait 10 minutes for it to skin, and slap the tailcone back on there...


(might want to drain the t-case first)


also check the tailcone seal - that seems to be a problem for some people...

I think it is leaking from the tail cone seal too. But I will know for sure after the leak is fixed coming from the h&t.
