Guys!! You need to own a AAA card!

.get AAA and premium if you can

this is an understatement. AAA card is worthless without the premium or plus or whatever they call it package that gives you 100 mile tow minimum. without it you get SEVEN miles. chances are the guy is going to have to drive more than that far to pick you up. just to put it in perspective a few years back one of my buddies broke down in JV, AAA only towed him from the lake bed to the road, and wanted 679$ to tow him back to LA area. I broke down in JV a year or two later and even though it was 50 or so miles beyond my 100 mile tow it cost me 49 bucks.

get the good package or don't bother unless you just want the hotel and disney land discounts :D

Julio....take note :D

Or you can ask the nice man with the super duty to haul your busted heep home for you.

I got the 100 mile tow package, But when my F250 broke down in AZ AAA said they cloud only tow me 7 miles because the only way I could use the 100 mile tow was if I was with them for over a year and never used a tow? Being able to use them for my DMV needs is a plus tho.

You can't get premiere or plus unless you're clean for a year, that's a *long* year. It's like a drug test to get a county job you've passed the year through that you're golden no matter what you do.

Must be your area..

I've been a Premier member for 3 years.. Never had it prior, and about 5 weeks after I signed up I used the 200 mile tow..

:lickout:

I recently upgraded to from Plus to Premier. With all these long trips we make, it's well worth it.

I know that Curt and Kyung have both gotten long tows from AAA.

Twice! had my MJ towed in from Calico to OC and had my old 95 Ram 4x4 towed in from 29 palms, those two trips paid for many years of the premium membership.
It's kind of funny when you're driving back from Moab or the Rubicon with mystery issues and you're counting down to the 200 mile range of the high end AAA card, quite a load off when you rich it.

Hahaha yep I do the same thing:firedevil

I have Premier RV Plus and have used up all my tows most years. I am surprised AAA hasn't cancelled me. But I am one of their best advertisers.
A happy member is a great selling tool!

I only do the 100 mile tow, since I am carrying 4 memberships...

I "gave" each of my 3 kids four years worth of paid AAA as a high school graduation gift... They love it, they use it, they tell their friends, they get their friends towed when they're getting a ride with them...

Aaaand they still don't realize it's actually a gift I gave MYSELF, not THEM... knowing they have that backup is a huge load off my worrycart (one's in school 250 miles away, one's 500 mi away, and the other is reachable by me & her dad here in town).

And I get to pay for that gift in 4 annual payments, too!!

I have the 100 mile tow. I've used it twice on the Jeep. It's about 99 miles from the road of Truckhaven to my doorstep. Ask me how I know! Used it once on the daily driver from LA, had to pay a bit for that one. The other times, I end up on Kevin3151's trailer.

We've had the Premier for a while now.Haven't had to use it on our jeeps yet(knock on wood), just on friends who have broke down at my house playing.;). Sure was nice to get them home nice and safe.
