Grenade Shift Knob

Now you need to get a tag that says "for driving complaints: take a number", and the number "1".

Attach the tag to the pin. Remove and reinstall the pin on the other side of the grenade so the tag is on the passenger side.
 
But make the spoon actually fly off as it should when you pull the pin. So they might begin to question the novelty of it

Then you'd also have to paint the spoon a different color.

If you wanted to have real fun, you could install a live training fuse. Then if some idiot actually pulled the pin, the spoon would fly off, the striker would pop the primer, it would start to smoke, and 4 seconds later,... BANG!.

Of course then you'd have to clean the passenger seat,....


Edit: Disclaimer for the thinking impaired/forgetful who left their seeing eye- hearing ear- and thinking brain-dog at home: this may be(probably is?... actually is?)illegal, and also dangerous as live training fuses for hand grenades are
1)classified as "and other destructive devices" by BATFE
2)Actually do contain a live fuse and a small explosive charge.
3)probably known to cause cancer by the state of california

If you're referring to a set of 5 lights, 1 on each side, and a cluster of 3 in the middle, those are clearance lights (amber to the front, red to the rear.) They denote vehicle width, not height or weight.
 
(to the haters)--So technical they are just mods and he likes em.

Sam- I get slack for my side vents all the time but I like how they look and thats what counts. I do agree that you should try and get your hands on a newer style grenade and look into maybe cutting and rethreading the shifter to bring the height down a little. Getting your lady to crawl over that thing could make her fuss ;)

you guys lost me. use what ever work you want lol. slak, flak, complaints, b*&^%ing, people dislike them. and one is functional as a cold air intake the other is for pulling hot air out of the engine bay.

That damn tapatalk signature. It can be turned off. It should never be turned on, but they turn it on by default...
