Got my TDS Safari Reg!

They line up in the wash by registration each year at midnight friday.

They just don't tell you in which direction and you can't line up until the trailboss does.

After scoping out the area, it did seem that there were only three areas (other than the 10 freeway!) that you could line up THAT many vehicles!

I may have to do this again. Even though it was a bit of a CF with that many vehicles, I do like Truckhaven, and that it a good time of year to hit it... Other than almost getting killed - it was pretty fun! :eyes:

I'll be droping my truck off in line the night before. I also gave up on the camping, too many damn drunks at night. Im staying at a hotel in Indio, its nice to have heating, a bed, shower and TV after a long day's worth of wheel'n.

Like I said CHAOS!!! it is nice being only 40mins. to my driveway. Camping IMO would be fine but I'd be WAY ! out of the area... the company I work for has a site not far away that is enclosed so I'd probably ask to get a key & camp in there.
See Ya!

I'll be at the www.Rockcrawler.com camp. We are going to camp a a little bit further away than most from the main road...just trying to stay out off all the dust and choas going on.

Are a canyon with a natural water hole that the big horn sheep and other critters go to for water. It's over in one of the canyons betweent he calcite mine and northern Truckhaven. Last time I was there, a small deer had wondered in and got trapped an was dead. Good hike up a sandstone canyon with high walls.
Fun area if you know where everything is. Fun to try and find the stuff also.
GPS does help. It's up one of the main trails as we did encounter a van conversion about halfway up the trail. Very weird as it was an old couple that didn't know anybetter and made us feel like fools when we got back in there. Nice old couple though.

Where you in a brown XJ a couple of months ago with the Gear Grinders in Nightmare Gulch on a day trip? We were in a white YJ. We have been associate members of that club for a little over a year now.
