The front bumper went on in about 2 hours. Thanks to Scott and Johnny for their help. Also a thanks goes out to Remi for his guidance on tightening the very last last bolt! :laugh3:
I will post pics a littel later today.
The bumper is really nice and went on fairly easily. The reinforcement mounting system is really nice. The built-in receiver has a nice mounting plate as well. We did have one little issue with a bolt breaking. I ordered the pre-runner bar for the top of the bumper. This bar bolts onto the bumper. One of the bolts that was weleded on the bar twisted off very easily. Scott said probably heat stree on the bolt from the welding. No big deal though. I will be welding the bar to the bumper in a week or so.
In all, it was a great time, pretty easy job. just takes some time. The instructions were fantastic. Very little room for error.
Thanks again Johnny, Scott, & Remi.
The rear bumper should be in on Tuesday. I will paint it Tuesday evening and shoot to install it on Wed. Worst case scenario is to install it on Thursday.
I will post as soon as it arrives.
Thanks,
Robert
