Gone Tubin' pics of chop deux

Bringin' this one back to the top.

After seeing B's rig in person this weekend, I'm impressed with the way it looks (from more than 5 feet away :D )

It looks nothing like these pics show it. I was going to name it the argonaut, but that doesn't fit anymore. Those of you that like it from the photos probably won't like it in person and vice versa.

There's only 1 bend in the whole thing that I didn't like, mainly due to a structural reason.

oh my gawd....

I'm cutting and pasting this....

a compliment from one ton?

no way man, i must still be drunk from the weekend....

seriously, no more crazy projects. I gotta do some serious focusing on reliability and strength.....in other words:

REAL AXLE SHAFTS!

and getting back out there some more....

need your wiper arm?

:D

I shudder to think where that wiper arm has been now that you have it, keep it as a souvenier.

Materials for the shaftage are being called upon tomorrow.

everytime I speak of wiper arms, or even look at them, I think back to Jes, and his 1001 uses for the particular item.

wiper arm -slash- battery tool.

I'll have to put yours to good use....

thanks.

Now that you boneheads have actually gotten your rigs wheeling you finally realize the right coasters do know their sh!t about axles and yours SUCK!

Time for 35 spline boys!

B so when you gona learn the skinny pedal isn't always for pushing.

I know I wasn't there but tough, I can take the crap you'll give me so have fun.

I'll be in JV next weekend, so suck that. :D

hinkley

hinkel-stick.

i'm not talking about the dana 60.

I'm talking about front shafts.

only one tons dana 60 is weak.

mines fine.

ecnomos, forgot to bring the camera once again! no pics, maybe someone else snapped a few

Since Beezil and Oneton were both broke by the time I got there, this is the only pic I snapped.
pic.php

I agree with OneTon...Beezil's rig sure looks a lot better in person.

wish i could have seen this thread when it was alive with pictures...

Ranger - www.xjdb.com search for Beezil.

Without the pics, this thread is only marginally advanced.

Talk of parabola functions, force vectors, and structurally integrity saved it though. Both posts. :laugh3:
