Gobi Roof Racks

i'm really lovin the look of these roof racks, but can't seem to find a price anywhere on their website (http://www.gobijeep.com/), anyone running one? how do you like it? price? i just emailed the guy but my gmail's been screwin up so who knows if it was actually sent.

Interesting, but I advise saving your money. I have a roof rack that sits in the barn now, spent 300 bucks on it too.

It's pretty, but I lost 2 mpg, caught trees on the trails, ripping my gutters and twisting the rack mounts, and had an overall feeling of increased "tippy-ness" (running with no swaybars enhanced that part).

But hey, it looks cool.

Mine wasn't the same model btw.

With Gobi racks, it's the "if you have to ask, you can't afford it" line.

I think I recall seeing the XJ racks going for over $1000 without any add-on. I think the ladder was like $250 Nice rack and I would love to have one but I am building my own at those prices.

They were on ebay for like $1000-$1200 if I remember right or like $1400 with some lights. Expensive buggers. I like my olympic for $350 new

I know the price of metal is high but there's no excuse for that.....I can build a kick ass rack for $100.Don't get me wrong its a nice rack but There really isn't anything THAT special about their racks.Gold plated?

Compared to other racks the Gobi's are much more expensive.

However, it has a full expanded metal floor, light mounts front and rear, concealed wiring channel, wind fairing tire carrier, specific fit to the XJ and is shipped truck freight which is included in the price.
