Goatfest: Tackhammer & LBJ

Spotted and took pics on Saturday. What a great place to wheel, even if you are riding bitch. Its a great place if you are on 31's or 33's and have only 3-5" lift or one locker or are light on armor. 3 hours to run TH & LBJ and play on the sand dunes. Run it backwards and make it a full day.

Its not the rig or trail that matters, its the combination, hence it was effortless.

Farmer Matts rig is way better than I am and is an order of magnatude more capable than the terrain we ran. I have no doubt that the drivers worked harder, concentrated more and pushed their limits to a greater extent on LBJ and TH Sat than I did on Sunday.

I did that run last year...still got the scars in the sidewalls to prove it. It is a good intro to JV rocks!

Here is a video of the sand dune we played around on after we were done on TH & LBJ. Eventually 8psi and a different line choice got him up. Good stuff.
